ART

In high school I had the opportunity and the choice to study arts and that's what I did. There I learn a lot of things that have been actually useful in my days now. For exemple for Art Direction was very useful my knowledge of the materials, how to creat scenarios and fake objects. Also it gave me the abilities to even build scenic clothes for my film characters as I did for exemple in my movie Zemlya and Matilde. Drawing and painting it's also useful not only to build storyboards and make your vision more clear to others but also helps you think the image in a more detail way. That's why I like painting and drawing for exemple. It reminds me of photography. The only diferences is that I get the chance to draw every single detail of the picture. Makes me understand more how human body works in different angles, how materials reflect light and how they change the color of it.

But the truth above all this things is that I actually paint and draw because I have pleasure doing it. And I don't always paint in canvas, I like to go out of it and paint also bodies, walls, objects. I rarely care about the final result as long as I enjoy painting and I learn how to see better with that amazing exercise of observation that creating an image offers me.
